I've been told that I got a bacterial infection, how serious this can be? I haven!

Question:
And I have had flu for 3 months, I am now wondering what is going on. Please advise.
Answers:
If you haven't seen a Doctor who told you that you have a bacterial infection?? I would go and see a Doctor so you can have the appropriate tests done and given the medicine you need to recover. 3 months of the flu seems like an awful long time and I would be curious to know what I have and why I have had it for so long. See a Doctor!

There are MANY different types of bacterial infections. You would have to be more specific if you wanted a decent answer.

if you get too much infection and bacteria in yourself you can die

You need to consult your Doctor who can diagnose an infection. You may need prescription medications. Or your symptoms could turn out to be a number of different diseases.

Bacterial infection can be serious, I was reading a health wise book and most bacterial infections need hospitalization. I have a two year old daughter that has a bacterial infection, Pnuemonia, they can be very very serious.

These little fellows can get very nasty. By leaving it without any treatment, natural or otherwise, you run the risk of depleting your immune system to the point of exhaustion. When this happens your bacterial infection can become lifethreatening. I am loathe to recommend antibiotics to anyone as a Naturopath, but in this instance it could be an option. You can still get on top of it, with Natural treatments but it will take a little longer, but the results will be more permanent as your overall immunity will be stronger. It really depends on whether or not you are that far gone and where you infection is situated.
