How long does it take your hair to grow from shaved to shoulder length?!

Glad to hear that you are doing better! Hair grows about a 1/2 inch per month ( i learned this from my hair stylist friend that graduated from Paul Mitchell). So you probably need about 6-8 of hair to be at your shoulder. So it might take a year to grow 8 inches. It took me 6 months to grow 3 inches on my hair. But it depends on the person. Have fun with your hair while its growing change colors styles. That's what i did. Good luck!
Let's see. that's about 20 cm. fromthe top of your head, at a growth rate of 1 cm./month, so it's gonna be some 20 months. NB: 1 cm=0.39 in.

I think it takes about 8 months.

it will fly by, and before you know it, you will have long hair. but i bet you are pretty any way it goes. I think you should have lots of fun with it.. I think that the short hairstyles are great for summer. and you can go with different color's that you have always wanted to try!.

Hi, I was just looking for info on this myself.. I finished chemo in dec. at which time I was virtually bald, now, 4 months later its about 2 inches, I've been putting a nioxin spray on it, which supposedly encourages hair growth, tho, Im not totally convinced - lol! I just wanted to send my love, cos its a nightmare, after all the treatment, that your hair seems to take forever to grow.. but it will. Im 24, so whether age is a factor as well I dont know. Big love to you.. XXX
