I'm a curious woman!?!

Question:
To most guys this might be awful, but if there are any wome out there that can answer this question plz answer it! Right now i'm doing a study on contraception in my health class. Is it possible for a woman who is menstruating to get pregnant? I was told no because the womans placenta has already peeled off with the egg. but this came from someone who isnt dumb but not very educated. Also if she has sex while on her period, but she also uses birth control is it possible? Guys u can answer as well, but his topic groses u out!
Answers:
I believe you can always get pregnant at any time, even during your period because the sperm can survive for a while and various other reasons. It's unlikely, but there's a very small chance. Even birth control is not 100% sure.

Yes, you still can get pregnant. I've heard of a couple other cases, but your most fertile before your period. If you use whatever birth control method properly, you won't get pregnant no matter what time of the month it is. Though, while on your period, it's quite slippery. It'd be best to lay towels down and such to protect your bed/couch/ whatever your doin' it on.

the possibility is rare, it has happened before, but it actually happening is utterly and completely rare

Mensurating women at the bleeding phase wont be able to conceive until and unles she is not bleeding for some other reason. 3 days after 14th day till 3 days before 14th day is called a safe period for sex if the cycle is regular 28 days. This period very low chance of getting pregnant. Bleeding phase they cant conceive.

What's gross about it? If they can have sex with us, then they can tolerate hearing about our normal bodily functions, too.

Yes, one can still get pregnant if on their period. Sperm still swim. Ova can be hanging out in fallopian tubes. The female reproductive system can be awfully determined at times, and some women are just nothing but "Fertile Myrtles"!

Therefore, no matter how remote the possibility may seem, always use birth control if you do not want to risk pregnancy. By the way, sexual intercourse can help greatly to relieve menstrual cramps.:-)

I saw a progam on TV that stated that a lady can get pregnant at anytime even during her period. Dont have the technical jargon as to why but apparently it is possible.

Also no form of birth control is 100% effective, and you would have to be very unluck for someone to become pregnant whilst using protection during her period!

To my knowledge, no. Sperm can survive inside of a woman anywhere from 24-48 hours, so not very long at all. It's possible if intercourse occured at the very end or very beginning of the woman's cycle that a sperm somehow survived long enough or the egg wasn't out of the woman's body early enough that it could fertilize the egg, but that's very unlikely.

Either way, if you're going to have sex with someone then wear a condom. They're getting so thin and so durable that it's like they aren't even there, plus it's $5 for a pack of 12, not very expensive at all.

It is extremely unlikely, probably impossible, for a woman to become pregnant from sex during her menstruation days.
It is best to always use a condom until you are settled in a permanent relationship.
Sex during the bleeding is messy, but if you are enjoying the sensation there is no reason to stop it.
Most men are polite enough to allow her a few days off but if your man is voracious you may as well continue.

yes, it is possible to get pregnant. It is unlikely though. If a woman ovulates early in her cycle she could get pregnant while still bleeding from her last cycle. Semen will survive for approximately 5 days in a fertile environment. Birth control is not always effective either, but it will greatly reduce the chances of pregnancy. Also, there is no placenta until about 10-12 weeks of pregnancy.
