Im 5 5 13 years old and when we go to the wieght roomin atchletics my partner benches 55 and i do 75 3 stes of 10 im always very soar after am i lifting enough wieght to build muscle or should i add more.?.?.?Health Question & Answer

Yes, you're doing fine. If you can, after you're done lifting 8 - 10 reps for 1 set add more weight on for the next set and so on for the next. But, whatever you do, do NOT overwork yourself because you will regret it. Once you start feeling the heat and the burn you know you're getting somewhere. Do 4 sets of 8 - 10 reps if you can , for about 2 weeks. Then 4 sets of 10 - 15 reps for 2 weeks, this is how you get stronger every time. Make sure you take 1 - 3 days off after each work out, because if you don't you will cause injury and it'll take for ever for your muscles to grow. Get 8 hours of sleep every night, because the way your muscles grow is in your sleep, if you stay up late night your muscles will never grow. Drink at least 6 - 8 glasses of water a day, eat 3 - 6 small meals that contain plenty of protein. Make sure you have consumed at least 40 - 60 grams a protein before you go to bed.
