Issue with Retraction of Foreskin?!

Question: Issue with Retraction of Foreskin.?
When I get an erection, my foreskin wouldn't retract, I looked into it a few months ago and I found out that every once and awhile it will happen in teens males and should loosen up by the time I'm 18 (I'm currently 17). I was concerned again today so i tried putting Vaseline around the tip and pulling it back, to stretch it, when i Stretched it back I noticed that There appeared to be a little purple, i guess i would call it a vein connecting the head to the foreskin, and the vein appeared to be stretch extremely tight, I released immediately to make sure it didn't tear. Could this vein be the problem of why my foreskin doesn't retract by itself during an erection.?

BTW I would like information, NOT "GET A CIRCUMCISION"

I'm scheduling an appointment with my family doctor tomorrow, any other suggestions.?Health Question & Answer

I'm not sure what is 'attached' but it must either be your frenulum (which is supposed to be attached but may be too tight) or a 'skin bridge'.

It is perfectly normal NOT to be able to retract your foreskin when you are a child. When you are an infant the foreskin is actually attached to the glans (head) of your penis and naturally detaches itself normally somewhere between the age of 5 and 10. Smegma is formed as the foreskin adhesions break down.

As well as being attached to the glans of the penis the foreskin of a child can also be naturally tight. In other words not all boys have a foreskin that is loose and easily retractable even when it has detached from the glans. It is somewhat normal therefore, even in healthy individuals, for the foreskin to require some stretching before it is easily retractable. An inability to retract the foreskin in children does not necessarily indicate phimosis.

The foreskin is stretched
