I know this is the wrong section but I need answers from guys. I may like a guy that is significantly shorter than me- I'm 5'8 he's somewhere around 5'4 i'm guessing. And I don't mean to be self centered -because he's got a lot going for him too, he's nice, cute, athletic and everyone likes him- but I'm going to go ahead and say I'm hot, like model hot, skinny but I still have curves. Shouldn't he still be attracted to me.? It's driving me nuts!Health Question & Answer

For some guy't its, it's a pride thing. I know what you mean though. While I was stationed in Iraq, I had a girl that was my commanding officer. She was hott! But, she was a foot and a half taller than me. Now, I've always been the kind to say "no way, i won't date a woman thats taller than me," but man, i put my foot in my mouth with her. We dated for years, but to get to the point, i had to get over my "personal prefrence". Thats all it is to him, a matter of personal prefrences. But if he likes you, and if you show interest in him, he'll soon get over that. Just don't throw the height difference up in his face. He might be alittle self conscious because of the height difference. He might think that it would suck for you because you would have to bend down to kiss him and stuff like that. But if you like him ask him out, thats the only way he is going to know that you like him and two that you don't care about his height. I guess I'm somewhat confused as to your question. Are you saying he isn't attracted to you perhaps because he is short.? If so, I'm curious as to how old you and he are. Obviously, if your young, you both will grow. If you are past growing, you should know that height isn't really that important.Health Question & Answer
You didn't really say how old you are.... but there is a stage where girls are often taller than guys (early teens) and the guys will catch up eventually.

I once went out with a guy who was quite a bit shorter. It took him forever to ask me out. he liked me for about 2 months before he did. it may have been longer, thats just how long i knew. Anyway, we went out, and i really liked him, but it really was too akward. We broke up after a few months. But, you never know. Give it a shot and see what happens.Health Question & Answer

I got your problem, It was an incident in my life, that I had a friend who was around 5.5 but he never used to get attracted towards girls who were taller than him, but he used to admire their beauty though without their knowledge. it is a Ego feeling that, if a girl is taller than boy then definitely he will feel embarrassed while walking together, and also he will be in the center of attraction among his friends, to make fun of him. so normally(including me) avoid it. but if a girl turned up on me and proposed and also who is cute good looking and have a cheer full character, then I would accept her invitation, but before I would want her to make me feel that she would not dump me for my height later in our relationship, as even she might undergo the same insult among her friends. so what I suggest is,if you really like that guy and want to have a relationship with him, then please go ahead and propose to him,
or else forget him, you will come across many good persons later in your life.
