Why should just because you are religious should you not masturbate. Every person on the planet is entitled to sexual feelings and take pleasure in it. There is nothing bad or wrong with this. Explore your body, every body is a beautiful thing. But if you still feel like you are doing it to much then don't get in the situations that make you feel like it. Mormons are definitely against, and some Catholics; but Catholics are not officially allowed to use birth control either, though it's obvious that most do - otherwise they'd have far more children.
The reason you can't stop is that yur body is designed for regular sexual activity - your reproductive system works better if your exercise it.

There isn't a special number of times which is OK or not, and that depends lots on hormone levels and age. Some do once per day, some three, or some other number. Just keeping balance will other things is what it's about.
Don' try to get so busy that you have no time for sex either, but make time for all things. That's what a real sex life will look like when you have that one special Lady as part of you whole life.
