Do you think it's possible someone could pretend to like you for a whole year.? Like get to know your family, spend all their spare time with you, have you stay over all the time, cook for you, just hang out doing nothing - for a whole year.? And if so, what possible reason could there be to live a lie like this.?

Yes, it is possible. The reasons are varied - to get something of yours, to become closer to someone else that you know, to mess with your head, to steal your identity, or because they don't trust you and they want to keep you close, like that phrase "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."
I had a girl do something similar to me in college - she pretended to be my friend, sat next to me in class, spoke with me, allowed me to sit next to her in other classes, all because she didn't trust me and wanted to keep an eye on me.

I think they can do this and women do the same thing. Such as Maybe they grew up hard with not much in life but a loving family but as far as money goes it was hard to come by. It was hand to mouth all the time. I know in my case when we first meet and her family found out mom and dad had a few oil wells we was rich. It was just the fact that they had oil, did not matter that it only pulled $100 a month if that. I was in HS when that took place then i went into the service so I had none of the bennys from it. I worked my butt off, my back hurts to this day because of it. The town I grew up in was like that, pretty much the same as hers but it was a minning town. We married, have three kids she got her education to be an RN and I retired out. Now our relationship sucks. Mostly after i took sick as if I had ask for it to take place. lord only knows if I could have done it another way I would have but life goes on. So yes it really can be done both ways, he could be after things the same as a women can be after certain things in life. Health Question & Answer
