Whether he is circumcised or not, he could just be using improper cleaning methods. And it doesn't have to be from the penis, it could also be from the whole area in general (ie, scrotum). Although you may think it isn't a hygiene problem because he showers every day, that doesn't mean he should be fine. The typical example is the overuse of soap. People dont think it can cause any problems because soap makes things clean, it kills bacteria. However, it also kills the good bacteria. Another thing that can be a problem is WHEN he rinses the area. If he rinses the penis at the start of the shower all the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc is going to rinse down in that area. Make sure he is rinsing the area at the end of a shower. After a shower, use a towel to dry the area.

Probably a fungus. Tell him to use good washing methods and dry thoroughly before putting on his underwear. Baking soda kills almost all fungus, so he can rub that in his skin with water, but it's kinda rough so you probably want to pulverize it in a food processor first and then have him wash with it.Health Question & Answer
