Red Bump On My Penis What Is It?!

Question: Red Bump On My Penis What Is It.?
Ok, about a week ago I found a small skin collared bump on the left middle shaft of my penis. Now it is about the size of a BB and its red and hurts to touch it. I am going to ask everyone out here before going to a doctor. I am 14 going on 15 years old and i am a virgin. Could it be an infected hair on the shaft.? Can you spread herpes by kissing and get it on your penis.? I did not get a BJ for about a year all I did was kiss girls. I know i shouldn't have but i tried to pop it and it didn't pop so i know it can't be a zit. I haven't shaved lately. But it is on the skin. I am circumcised sized. It isn't in the crouch area right on the left side in the middle of the shaft. Please help. Health Question & Answer

no you can not get herpes on you penis by kissing an infected girl, only if her infected area(s) touch you down there...but it is very contagious..it might be an ingrown hair that needs to pop out...but i do suggest that you go see your physician right away...i'm sure that your dad will understand and take you himself and not tell your mom...Health Question & Answer

Hi
It could be an infected hair follicle or it could be a slight split in the skin if you masturbated and it was very dry.
Keep the area clean and dry.
Don't squeeze it but apply some Savlon or other antiseptic cream and you should be fine in a couple of days.
