i decided to go vegetarian.will i stop growing as much or anything and can i still gain muscle. also i take kickboxing im hoping to gain muscle with the workout i do but will i if im a vegetarian.? also im 14 5ft 10Health Question & Answer

During puberty your body needs protein to fuel your growth, and while I will not go as far as to say you should not go vegetarian, I will say that you need to make sure you get the proper amount of protein your body requires daily!
While a lot of fruits and vegetables do contain protein, meat is a better source for it, by far.
Now, if you want to build MORE muscle, you will need even more protein and going vegetarian kinda puts you at a disadvantage right from the start doesn't it.?
