Question: My testicles itch very bad whats wrong.?
it started when i was walking though the woods and the crotch area of my jeans ripped and i had on underwear on underneath it. so basically it was my underwear that was exposed to all the plants and bugs and what not. then i got home and for almost a week straight my testicles have been itching non stop and i have to scratch them but i think ive scratched off layers of skin now my testicles are raw. and where the shaft of my penis lays on my testicles that part is becoming red and chafing also . i really need help!!! i havnt had sex or even fooled around in 2 years so i know its not any kind of std. im thinking maby poison ivy or oak.? and what can i use to help get rid of the itching and chafing.? so if you have any helpful advice/knowledge, please let me know, thank you!!!!!Health Question & Answer

It does sound like poison oak or poison ivy. To help ease the worst part of your misery - put water in your bathtub just deep enough to cover your testicles & as hot as you can stand it - then dump in (2) cups of Epsom Salts & dissolve. Sit in the warm water until the water turns cold. This will help heal the rawness. You need to pick up a bottle of Poison Ivy or Poison Oak Lotion at your pharmacy or Walmart. Many times, if you have a bottle of Calamine Lotion or Caladryl at home, rubbing that on will help. Each time you scratch & burst one of the little bumps, the liquid oozes out & runs over another area & breaks out more. Do NOT scratch, then rub your eyes or you aint seen nothing yet as far as misery. This will teach you not to run thru the woods with your family jewels flapping in the breeze..Health Question & Answer
Please do not put baby oil on it as the other poster suggested; if you do and it is some kind of poison it could spread it further.

i reccomend a product that wal mart sales called Bordeux butt paste no kidding ..it was developed by a compound pharmascist if it does not clear up youre problem then you need to see a dr ..but the cream has antifungal and a few other meds in it ...Health Question & Answer
try some calamine lotion its pink and its made for poison ivy oak.

I would try benadryl in pill form first. if it helps then go to a cream if you do not have open sores. wash the area first.Health Question & Answer
