Spermatozoa are invisible to the naked eye. They swim in the fluid called semen, which is what everybody refers to as ***.
There is no right or wrong consistency for the semen to be - a lot of people would say thick is the normal, however for many people the semen can suddenly change consistency and go thick and lumpy or very thin and watery. Provided there are no other symptoms (such as pain or any discharge etc) then the consistency of semen is of no importance.

It's not sperm, it's SEMEN. I'm sick of people getting that wrong.
It doesn't matter how thick or thin it is. The more fluids you drink the thinner it will be because you are healthy and hydrated. And if it's thick you might not be drinking enough water.
