One of my testicles always is uncomfortable. What might it be?!

Question: One of my testicles always is uncomfortable. What might it be.?
My right testicle often feels uncomfortable. Not painful, not really even sore. Just unconfortable. It started when I had a bike wreck last year and a doc did check them out and said I was fine. I don't know really how to describe the feeling. I've wondered if it be psychological or something. It just doesn't feel as sensitive as the other one and maybe a tad stunned.Health Question & Answer

both of them got better, even though it was a while after!Health Question & Answer

The testicle may be quite normal. What you feel may be what is called a "referred pain" This means altho' the sensation feels as if it is in the testicle, it may be coming from an injury somewhere else. If it started with your bike wreck, you may have injured a disc in your lower back. This will give a variety of symptoms, depending at what level you have the injury. Why don't you consider going back to your doctor and have him check your back/. also get him to check your prostate. The latter can give very subtle symptoms in the testicle and inside the penis if it is inflamed. The doctor will have to insert a finger in your ano-rectal region to palpate the prostate for lumps, pain and signs of inflammation. This is not as bad as it sounds.
Human bodies are a lot more complex that you may realize and it behooves your doctor to reassess the situation. It is not psychologicalHealth Question & Answer

It may just be a psychological thing since the doc certified you as OK. If you are still not alright with his assessment, i suggest you go get an x-ray or scan or something from another clinic to make sure everything is fine. I wouldn't play with that area if it were me!Health Question & Answer
