Question: How can I get my normal hairline back.?
I'm 21 years old. In my high school days (14-18) I use to always get cuts by the same barber. He did a fantastic job always. Then, when college hit I had to find a new barber where I was living, and they cut my hair very differently. This lead me to sometimes trying to line myself up and cut my hair on my own. I started lining myself up and cutting my own hair around age 19 and I have been doing it since and my hairline is getting worse. Every time I cut my hair I keep backing up my hairline further to the point where now - my hairline goes too far back on the sides. I want to grow my normal hairline back but it seems that I have been cutting it so much in the past that it will not grow back at all. ANY SUGGESTIONS!Health Question & Answer

It most likely has nothing to do with you cutting your hair...you are probably losing hair/going bald. happened to me around your age... Rogaine foam has worked wonders to bring my hairline back...and mixed in with Propecia its even better, but my body couldn't tolerate the propecia

Unfortunately the only cure for baldness is castration and most men don't want to keep their hair that badly. There are a few medicines on the market which work, namely Propecia and Rogaine. However, these must be used daily and the majority of insurances will not cover them. As they are used primarily for cosmetic reasons, they tend to be quite pricey.Health Question & Answer
