I'm a 19 year old male, and I'm athletic and keep a good watch on my health, the only issue I've had most of my life is a stuttering problem, so I'm going back on Paxil. This seems to help my anxiety which helps me to avoid stuttering in most situations. I never noticed anything when I was on it before, but I'm hearing comments online such as losing your sex drive, difficulty maintaining an erection. I'm no longer in a relationship as of three weeks ago, but I'm really not interested in this if all this is true. Too bad I just filled a prescription. Answers:
Paxil can cause problems with your libido but it varies with the individual and the dosage. If the dosage is small you may be fine particularly because you are young. The longer you take it the more apt there are to problems later with delayed ejaculation and so forth.

I'm on Elavil, which is a pretty prowerful antidepressant and antianxiety medication..its supposed to reduce sex drive..it hasn't, not that I noticed at least.
