Is this a good way to learn how to do a pull up? ?!


Question: Is this a good way to learn how to do a pull up.? .?
in 4 days i hung on the bar 100 times for 20 seconds


now im doing the same thing but instead of 20 seconds im doing thirty seconds. i should be done in three more days.

im going to do this until i reach one minute.

when i reach a minute should i be able to do a pull up.? Health Question & Answer

Hanging on the bar works the grip, but not the laterals that pull up. As long as your grip is there, you're just in a dead hang.

Well you are not exercising the right muscles to do a pull up. If you want to do a pull up.. you actually have to practice doing .... you guessed it... pull ups. If you can't do one, then get a friend to help.. and push off your feet.. if you got no friend to help.. then use a bench or something... and put less pressure on your legs so that you are using your upper body.Health Question & Answer
