Hey guys i was just wondering what the proper way to clean my penis is.?. i pull back the foreskin and clean in the shower, but it doesent seem to take away the smell. when peeing i herd your sposed to pull back your foreskin, but whenever i try it i kinda spray everywhere.

When washing, you should pull back the foreskin so the glans (head) is fully exposed, including the part where it gets wider and then curves in again like a bell. Rinse off all of the glans, and all of the foreskin surface that was inside when it wasn't retracted. Afterwards, dry off your penis and let the foreskin roll back over the glans.
It's not necessary to completely retract your foreskin when you pee, if that's what you're doing. In fact, I'm not sure you really need to retract it at all for peeing, unless your giving a clean urine sample. Urine is astringent, and doesn't support bacterial growth very well. If you just dab yourself with a tissue after you're done to sop up the last drops, you should be fine.
If you have some abiding smell that cleaning can't seem to eliminate, check with your doctor to see if you have an infection in the area.Health Question & Answer

All penises smell -- cut or uncut. I'm cut (wish I weren't) and it does smell. You are cleaning it fine, you are just hyper aware. You don't need to pull back your foreskin to pee -- several of my friends are uncut and they don't.

Just pull it back a little bit, enough to expose the hole when peeing. As for cleaning it in the shower, rinse it good with soap and water under the skin.

i always pulled the skin back when urinating; it keeps the stream more controlled. Use soap and water when cleaning your penis; water alone ain't gonna cut it. Health Question & Answer
