Question: How much sleep does an adult male need.?
I usually have around about 9 hours of sleep per night,

9 consistent hours at roughly regular times sounds ok,
1) how is your diet, r u eating or r u regually skipping meals .?.?.?.?
2) Do you exersize or at least get off your but do something.?.?.?.?
3) Poor sleep could be a cause, sometimes a hard/unconforable bed can give u a poor nights sleep.
4) Have you recently being up late, particular a few times lately. It could be that sleep patterns are out of sync.
5) If it's starting be a real concern and can't work it out you should consider seeing a doctor.
6) It is possible to too have too much sleep. ie: you feel tired because your used to heaps of sleap...but 9 hours should fine.
7) Alkahole and some drugs can make you less alert/sleeper.

Usually 8 hours is a minimum.I lift weights and I still aim for 8 hours a sleep per night (for optimum recovery).your best bet would be to supplement with ZMA (safe supplement for men) it helps with sleeping and makes you feel better when you wake up.also look into a multivitamin that contains vitamin b12.Health Question & Answer
It's different for everyone. You might be over sleeping, or you might have a sleep debt or you might not be getting enough REM sleep. Talk to your doctor. Try going to bed either 30mins earlier or 30 mins later then usual and see what that does. You might not be getting enough REM cycles.
