Would you consider testicular implants? Testicles removed due to injury.?!

Question: Would you consider testicular implants.? Testicles removed due to injury..?
I had both testicle removed after a couple years of failed surgeries. this happened six months ago and I was planning on replacing them with implants. I had two different views from my doctors. One told me don't put any foreign materials in my body because I have an history of adhesions. My other doctor looks at this as my emotional well being and if implants would make me feel better, than she would not object to this cosmetic surgery.

My question goes out to both men and women. For the men, if you had both testicles removed (because of cancer or in my case injury) would you leave it alone or have them replaced with implants. For the women, if you had a husband or boyfriend who had this situation, what would you say about it.

Yes, I know this is a cosmetic surgery, but I faced with this situation now. Before the surgery, I was certain that i would not like to have no testicles, even though it basically only for me to see. Now that I've been without them, i don't really mind not having them. Maybe it was a source of great pain over the years and now I can sit (drive, bike) without pain. The scrotum is still there, but shrunk alot. It is clear that something is missing. I have to make a decision and wnated to hear both sides of this. What and how whould you feel about this.?Health Question & Answer

I have never had this happened to me and sorry to hear about this. But here is what I would say, go ahead and do it if you want to. Just by doing this is it going to make you happier.? Are you going to gain self esteem.? I would do it if it was me because I think it would raise my confidence and make me feel better about myself. It's like a woman who gets there breast amputated due to cancer and then replaces them with implants. I know I'm going to here about comparing breast to testicles is wrong but I believe that's how men feel. I would do it. If it is going to make you feel better do it. Follow your heart on this, no one on yahoo can make this decision for you. Health Question & Answer

Don't worry you are a very strong person. Don't get it if you are this strong. You don't need anything this artifical to make you feel better. If someone likes you, they will like you for who you are.Health Question & Answer

It sounds like you have adjusted well-you seem comfortable with your manhood even without them. It does not sound like you need them for your mental well-being, and there really would be no other point of having them put in.Health Question & Answer

are embarrassed.

well if it was my husband I would tell him to do whatever makes him happy and makes him feel good about his body because if your not happy with your body it can affect your sex life, cause depression and lead to a failing marriage. I would tell him not to worry about health risks like what the one doctor told you because all surgeries can lead to problems and if it makes you happy then it is worth the risks and they aren't saying it could kill you so....do what makes you happy if you can live your life just fine without them then do so but if you don't feel comfortable or sexy without them then you should do it. good luck I'm sorry to hear you had to go through all that.
Health Question & Answer

DEFINITELY Yes,
I have a Bud who just went thru a bout with Testicular Cancer. He only had one Testicle removed, the other was fine, he is Single and 22yo.
He felt he needed to have it done and he did and now he's grateful he did.
It really depends on how you feel about it. I 'personally', would have it done...just MHO!
p. s. "than she would not object to this cosmetic surgery". Whats with the FEMALE doctor!....
