What i've noticed is after my growth spurt which was maybe a year ago, on the left side of my chest in the center the bone there is sticking out more than the right side. Could just be Costochondritis. An inflammation of the cartilage. Can feel like the bone is sticking out and can happen after stress. Maybe your recent growth spurt is acting as a minor stressor. These things take a few weeks to heal but some people have this for months. See your doc to rule out anything more serious.Health Question & Answer
