How many zzz's to catch?!


Question: How many zzz's to catch.?
I'm a 16 year old guy and I'm trying to change my schedule around.
I'd like to start waking up at 6:00 am but am unsure how many hours I'm supposed to sleep. What time, for instance, should I hit the sack.?
Essentially, how many hours of rest do I need.? Health Question & Answer

Medical professionals have long said that 8 hours of sleep is the magic number. So make sure that you are in bed at least 8 hours before you need to wake up.

However, you can sleep for 8 hours and not get "restful" sleep. Remember, REM sleep is the most important sleep because this is the deep sleep when the body is truly relaxed and being recharged.

Lately I have not been getting this kind of sleep so I need to stay up late JUST to stay sleep in order to be able to function throughout the day. It is very important that you get restful sleep.

i'd say about eight (8) hours. that will make you feel very refreshed.........
