Will it hurt if I get my phrenum pierced?!

Question: Will it hurt if I get my phrenum pierced.?
Answers:
The frenulum (or frenum) is a cord-like structure on the under side of the penis between the back of the glans and the inner surface of the foreskin.

The purpose of the frenulum is to help restore the foreskin to covering the glans after an erection subsides. If one is circumcised, and hence has no foreskin, the frenulum is totally redundant. For this reason it is usually removed during circumcision to prevent it becoming abraded during sex.

The frenulum carries a large vein (not an artery) which can bleed very seriously if cut or torn. Under (rather than IN) the frenulum there are many sexually sensitive nerves.

Piercing the frenulum needs to be done by an experienced genital piercer both to avoid passing through the vein and to prevent infection. The area must be scrupulously cleaned before the piercing is done and needs to be kept perfectly clean all through the healing process.

If you are uncircumcised then the wound will heal much slower since it is kept moist by the foreskin and not allowed to dry out properly as is best for rapid healing. It is particularly important to always retract your foreskin to urinate if you have any genital piercing so as to keep urine off the wound.

You should NOT expect the actual piercing and its early stages of healing to be pain free!Health Question & Answer

It will be sensitive for about a month. You CANNOT jo for at least 2 weeks. It doesn't hurt as bad as a Prince Albert, but it can feel uncomfortabe at first. Avoid using a bar. I did once, and got caught on my undies once. YEOWWWWWWWWWW

I have a p/a as well. That one is the money piercing. I like it. Just be really careful with it for the first month and all will be grand. Take a shower every day and keep that area squeaky clean. Not just the piercing. Make sure you thoroughly was everywhere from the pubes to the pooper...... You're encasing that area in undies, and baacteria can migrate in the warmth of your happy spot. hehe..... I use the words I do so as not to offend the sensative ears of younger people and the born agains that are yahoo sensorsHealth Question & Answer

I have mine done. It was less painful than my high school-aged ear piercings. It healed very quickly, as well. I got the first one on a Tuesday and was back in the chair that Thursday for number two. Don't sweat it. If you go through with it, you will see that ANY pain is worth the benefits.Health Question & Answer

I know the term TMI but PLEASE what are you talking about.?.?.? If it does help, every piercing does pain and if you mean piercing your genitals, it would hurt like a sonofabitch so be prepared but I think if you have a partner, the person would love it!!!Health Question & Answer

A welsh man.? I don't see how it would hurt you to have a welshman pierced.

A perineum piercing, on the other hand, seems not only painful to get done, but painful for a long time following. If you have it done, please send pics.
