Medical Question. Removal of frenulum (penis question)?!
Question: Medical Question. Removal of frenulum (penis question).?
Hey guys. Basically I have a frenulum. A piece of skin attached from the head of my penis to the foreskin. It didn't really bother me until a sexual partner spread some gossip when we broke up that i had a tight foreskin...anyways I would like to get it removed but do not know how to go about it. If i went to a gp i think i would die of embarrasement lol.

the frenulum (which all uncircumcised guys have) is a very sensitive part of the penis and removing it will lessen the sensations you have. you have to ask yourself if gossip is really a cause for surgery. Think about it. "Hey this guy I slept with last night has a tight foreskin" doesn't that seem a bit rediculous and kindergarten age foolishness.....who cares if you have a tight foreskin...it doesn't make your ability to please another partner any less. I personally would just dismiss the other person and laugh at their stupidity. Health Question & Answer
All the previous advice has been right on for the most part. One piece that was not addressed was the "tight foreskin" part. The frenulum is not a problem but it sounds like a tight foreskin may be a problem for you, your partner or both. There's lots of information out there about gradually stretching your foreskin so it is not so tight. Having a looser foreskin may help with the pronounced frenulum. Your doctor can tell you if your foreskin is too tight.
Good luck but don't go cutting anything away.

I agree with Bastian9. I wouldn't go removing it because of a rumour some ex started- not if it isn't bothering you physically. Just tell everyone she has 3 nipples LOL.
If you seriously must have it done, you;ll have to see a GP anyway, unless you're good with a razor blade, needle & cotton :-) (that IS meant as a joke) Dont go chopping your willy to bits, or future girlfriends might have something to spread rumours about.Health Question & Answer

Who gives a toss what an ex relation is spreading around:BTW,you can do the same to her too.See if she likes that.
Don't do it for the wrong reasons, only when it is really needed.
Go see your Dr:he has seen more penises then you will ever see.

Pal, I would echo that previous answer.. No need to fix what is not broken. If you serious about the matter, I strongly suggest a visit to the GP - DO NOT attempt to self mutilate.Health Question & Answer
That's no reason to have your frenulum removed. I wish I had my frenulum back - you'll miss the sensitivity if you do this.Health Question & Answer
You need to be a man and go to the doctor.Health Question & Answer
