Answers:
As long as you keep it below 99 degrees and you don't stay there for more than an hour in 15 min. intervals. Make sure that you drink LOTS of fluids, especially water. Some people drink alcohol and that can dehydrate you. If you get into the Sauna, make sure that you get out every 15 minutes to decreased your body's temp. with cooler water form the shower. One of the ideas of the Sauna is that the elevating body heat will eliminate toxins, fat and bacteria that otherwise will stay alive in your body. also the relaxation of muscles. If you are a minor (Under 16) Make sure that you don't stay too long, as it can create some physiological problems. Don't worry your balls won't get cooked, as long as you follow the 15 min. or less rule. and drink lot's of fluids. You can come out rinse with cooler water and then go back in for 15 minutes more.Health Question & Answer

The water is at a temperature that will probably damage the sperm produced by the testicles. But it won't "cook your balls" - they will cope with it, just not provide great sperm.

In days gone by, there was a common method of attempting to reduce the likelihood of pregnancy after sex- in Japan they believed that if a man were to sit in a hot tub of water for half an hour, it reduces the potency of sperm.

It sort of does - in that it "cooks" them, but it sort of doesn't - because of course, some sperm will survive, and the testicles continually produce new sperm.

So it's not a very good method of contraception.

But steam rooms etc. will not affect your body like that.Health Question & Answer

If you stay in for more than 15 minutes you can begin to overheat and you can actually pass out. But it won't "cook your balls."Health Question & Answer

It will lower your sperm count but only temporarily. It won't perminantly lower it. When you get out the count will go back up after a few hours.
