Question: Will doing cardio make me lose muscle mass.?
Will doing 30 mins of cardio (e.g. running on the treadmill) every other day make me lose muscle mass.? I'm a male, 18 years old.Health Question & Answer

It depends, if you aren't supplying your body with enough carbs before you work out your body will resort to breaking down muscle (protein) to fuel itself. But as long as your not starving yourself or your metabolism is way too fast you should be fine. Health Question & Answer

not necessarily, but the more cardio you do the harder it will be for you to gain mass. i used to run cross country and it was nearly impossible for me to put any size on.Health Question & Answer

nope if your eating lots of protein and lifting weights you should be gaining muscle.
