For guys who take care of their apperances...HELP!!!!!?!

Question: For guys who take care of their apperances...HELP!!!!!.?
My husband has huntington's disease. It gives him a lack of corrdination, and muscle tremors. He has grown a beard, and is wanting to trim it and shave it off.I am usually the one who shaves him, so I've done it before. He has really sensitive skin, and gets razor bumps alot after shaving, not on his face, just the area he shaves on his throat.Any tips on how to shave his face to save him from the irritation.?also, he has dry skin,he doesn't use lotion or any 'fru fru' products.Any tips on GOOD mens products that smell good that moisturize really good.?He needs bosy wash that works for sensitive skin, and shampoo too, but he wants something that smells good, doesn't make him itchy, and something that doesn't look like it was made for a woman. Please help by giving me ideas on mens products of all kinds that you have used that you like that keep your skin health and moisturized, your hair clean and moisturized, and your face free of razor bumps.Products that are very affordable too please...THANKS!!also any vitamins that you know of that you've taken specificly for men that help give you energy...Thank you so much for your help, I really need it!Health Question & Answer

First of all--WOW. You are an amazing wife and I am awed by women like you.

Now, I am also a female--I know you wanted male opinions--but I also have a boyfriend with a heavy beard and extremely sensitive skin.

I happen to know that shaving in the direction of the hairs (rather than against, like we women do on our legs) is much easier on the skin--especially in the neck region. Please note, this will not provide as close of a shave as going against the growth of the hair, but if you use a good, sharp razor, it shouldn't be too much different.

As far as "non-fru-fru" products, I bought my boyfriend the Mary Kay men's products and he loves them. They are great for sensitive skin, but are not perfumey. They are officially called "mkmen."

If you want to go even simpler, I personally love regular, old, unscented Dove bars. I use them on my own face and have for years.

Best of luck to you both!Health Question & Answer
