Question: Sharp pain in my penis after i go to the bathroom.?
Im 15 male and i get this randomly the pain lasts anywhere from 10 secs to 2 mins and it feels like im getting a knife shoved down my penis...it hurts alot and i have no clue why..what could this be.?
If protien has anything to do w/ it..i eat alot of protein cuz im trying to put on muscle
i weigh 134lbs 5ft 5 so not overweight or anything
I drink lots of water at least 1/2 gallon usually more a day
i eat 90% healthy foods

This can be caused by many different things. What i will say is that its not the protein. If u have an overabundance of protein in the urine then the kidneys r not working properly bc protein is not filtered or secreted in the urine (of course a small amount might be excreted in the urine, but thats not big deal). So if it was too much protein in the urine then that means the kidneys r failing, diseased, etc...and there would be other life threatening symptoms. So dont worry about protein, unless ur eating over 500g per day, in which some would be in the urine and since ur trying to put on muscle its always good to know that too much protein actually inhibits hypertrophy. This problem could be infections, urethra problems, slight obstructions, etc. U should def make a doc appointment bc if its hurting that bad then a urine imbalance is unlikely to cause that kind of pain. I wouldnt delay making the appointment either. Remember, we r guys, the purple-helmeted yogurt slinger is more important than our brains haha.

Most of the time burning is caused by an infection of some kind but the pain would be constant. Sometimes you can have really high uric acid in your urine that can cause burning. Does this happen everytime you go to the bathroom.? Sometimes soaps an cause irritation. Does your urine creat a foam when it hits the water.? well there are many reason's that this could happen.. so i think you should go to the doctor .... this is what it could be. 1)kidney stones, which i doubt u have 2) premenopausal hormonal imbalance which is like a burning feeling when u pee so that might not be it but i think it could be and the sharp pain could be like a burn, sometimes staying there for 2 minutes... 3) some type of infection that can be treated 4) i have no clue, so go to the doctor

Many things can cause your urine to go whacko. Too much protein, infection maybe in your urethra. You need to get this checked out. Remember family jewels are precious and never ever question that.lol. Drink plenty of water and get that checked out. Cranberry juice is pretty good for urinary tract health. Health Question & Answer
