yes it is true. that is to ensure that the doctors know there is a tourniquet and they will be able to evaluate the patient more thoroughly and assess exactly as to how bad a life threatening situation may be occurring with the patient. and you won,t run out of forehead.Health Question & Answer

A tourniquet should ONLY be applied by a qualified medic since completely cutting off the blood supply to an area will kill that area. There are other ways of stopping excess bleeding that less skilled people should use when necessary.Health Question & Answer
