Question: I just had a very weird occurance.?
I am an 18 year old male and something very weird just happened. My sister almost had to call 911, I was falling asleep and all of the sudden my heart just started pounding, my left side of my chest and ribs went numb then i started shaking very bad. I take benadryl and meletonin at night and also take zoloft earlier in the day. It felt like a panic attack but i was literally asleep when it happened for about 10-20 minutes. Whats going on.? I am going to see my doctor tommorow for a broncial infection i've been having for around 3 months (its my third visit and have taken 2 perscriptions of antibiotics already).Health Question & Answer

Transient ischaemic attacks
Transient ischaemic attacks (TIAs) are caused by a temporary cut in blood supply to the brain, due to the partial blockage of an artery by a blood clot or debris. TIAs have the same symptoms as a stroke, but they are temporary and do not usually cause long-term brain damage.
A TIA, or mini-stroke, is a warning of an impending stroke. A person who has had a TIA is at greater risk of having a stroke or heart attack. Early identification of symptoms and a diagnosis from your doctor greatly reduces the chances of a major stroke.
