Question: Gaining mass from a 5x5 workout..?
Will I gain mass if I properly do a 5x5 workout.? I dont have one in mind now but I would post it if I could. I'm not trying get crazy big ( I already am pretty big 188lbs 20%BF. I just dont know much about this kind of workout plan). Health Question & Answer

Yes you would gain mass as long as you are doing enough weight to challenge your body and you would definitely gain strength. I would recommend checking out bodybuilding.com or another similar site for more information on a 5X5 program. Being in a calorie surplus will be needed to put on weight. However you are already at 20% BF so consider adding cardio to your workout if you already haven't and make sure to eat a clean diet.Health Question & Answer
