Question: My little bro is turning 12 in two days he wants to know what changes is he likely to have this year.?
He's a tall guy if it makes a difference he's 5,4 and 114 pounds. also do you think that is a healthy weightHealth Question & Answer

Answers:
He is in the normal range of Body Mass Index, meaning he has a fairly healthy body weight, although he is in the lower bracket of this range, meaning, he shoudl eat more.

From 12 onwards, he is likely to grow thin (most boys undergo this prior to having puberty). Some wisps of facial, armpit, and pubic hair may start to appear, the scrotum (sack for testicles) will start enlarging, and he will start to develop minimal body odor (and this will necessitate him to wash a lot more often).

This is also the age where he begins to show some attention to those of the opposite sex, and he will start to ponder about his own individual identity. Because of this, he may start showing desire toward girls and may seem stubborn (because he is developing his personality). He will also need to spend a lots of times with his friends, however, do make sure that his friends are those that bring good influence.

More changes in both his body and in his personality will start when he starts turning into a 13 year old, which is the beginning of his teenage journey (and puberty).Health Question & Answer

Well it matters how much of his weight is muscle and how much is fat. You should be able to tell if it's "unhealthy" weight if he has a lot of stomach fat. Health Question & Answer
