However, for the past 4 months i have been making myself sick almost after everything i eat... I do not know why, I am a 23 year old man, I have a good body... I don't want to loose weight... It has become a bit of a compulsion... I just do it almost automatically, i go to the bathroom and push my finger down my throat... I have tried to stop but i can't... i feel anxious if i don't do it... Have i got bulimia.? what is going on.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
short answer is YES you're definately showing signs of it. and no, it isn't just for females (guys do have this problem as well). fact is, you are realizing this and NOW your best bet is really to seek help (because it will affect your physical & mental health in a most profound, negative way). i commend you for your courage, now anyone who is mature enough to understand this will ask that you, once again, show that courage & seek the help you most certainly need. it is not something to be ashamed of, the only shame is if you do nothing to get better. best of luck to you, young man.Health Question & Answer

You'll be amazed how many males have anorexia or bulemia.

Fortunately, people with eating disorders can get well and gradually learn to eat normally again. Eating disorders involve both the mind and body. So medical doctors, mental health professionals, and dietitians will often be involved in a person's treatment and recovery.

Therapy or counseling is a critical part of treating eating disorders
