The fact he wants to show you a rash would pretty well mean he sure isn't hitting on you for sex any more than a woman who came up and asked you to inspect her yeast infection would be.

It souds like he basically trusts you and respects your opinion.

In those cases, that means you don't blab it to others.

I don't know if you would recognize the various rashes if you saw them.

If he is or has ever been sexually active, then there are a host of things that can cause a rash. He really need the doctor to see him in order to get help. Unless you are a doctor you really can't help him.

So there likely isn't any real reason for you to look.

Encourage him to go to the doctor. It sounds like he is embarrased is all. There is really no reason to turn this into some sort of homosexual thing.

One thing you could do is direct him to sites that show what the different rashes look like. But realize that any diagnosis is iffy at best.

A rash could be nothing more than razor burn. Or a bacterial skin infection that happens sometimes due to that area being moist or it could be an STD like herpes. Only his doctor will know for sure.

Help him out. Just the same gear you have in your pants. And some guys are really embarrassed to show it, so sounds like he really trusts you. As for the rash, recommend some medicated powder like Gold Bond, usually works wonders. Vaseline or neosporin may be warranted too. Health Question & Answer

If it makes you feel uncomfortable then just tell him you have no medical expertise so couldn't give him any real good advice. Reassure him that its okay to go to the doctors if he's worried
