What is the procedure for a prostate check at the doctors?!

Question: What is the procedure for a prostate check at the doctors.?
Answers:
Really simple and quick. The Doctor will have the patient usually stand and bend over the exam table, drop the pants and underwear. The doctor will glove up, lubricate his fingers, usually the index, and gently shove it into the guy's anus and feel the prostate gland through the colon wall. Alternately, the patient will just lie on the table on his side, and the doctor will do the probe that way. Takes usually a couple of seconds for the finger probing. I've had several doctors do it, and it is always quite quick. First time is rather strange, after that just accept it will happen. Doesn't hurt either.Health Question & Answer

It is not a big deal, but guys get embarrassed about having to assume the bent over position and have the doctor insert a lubricated, gloved finger up their anus. It is not really painful but it is uncomfortable and "feels weird". The prostate cannot be reached any other way without instruments. There is a pressure like sensation when the gloved finger is pressed over the three lobes of the prostate . There is usually an urge to void urine(but only an urge, not incontinence). The doctor may wish to order a PSA blood test depending on the patient's age.Health Question & Answer

They insert a lubricated finger down the anus and try to feel the shape and size of the prostate. It's not necessarily painful but feels terribly weird!Health Question & Answer

They make you pull your pants down, and then they lube up their finger, and then stick it up your butt hole and feel around your prostate.
