What type of herbal tea is best for a head cold?!
Question: What type of herbal tea is best for a head cold.?
Answers:
I don't know if it is considered "herbal", but peppermint tea is awesome for head colds and sore throats! Make it as strong as you can take it. You'll be feeling better in no time! ;)Health Question & Answer
Lemon zinger...peppermint, mint medley, golden seal tea...and Celestial Seasonings has a special blend for colds.
I make my own "tea", it's not really tea though. ;)
I take a can of clear chicken broth and put just a little in a sauce pan and then I saute onions and chopped garlic in it. I let that simmer for a while and then I put some cayenne pepper in (carefully), then I put the rest of the can in. After it is nice and hot, I strain it and drink it like tea.
Clears you up fast and is very soothing! :)Health Question & Answer

Golden seal & Echinacea, all the hot teas are good for different ailments & several of them are good for colds. Fennugreek & comfrey root ( if you can find that one let me know) is good & peppermint it too. The more it's tighter sealed - the better it is too. Health Question & Answer
