I've had 5 nosebleeds today?!
Question: I've had 5 nosebleeds today.?
i've been sick since friday but it's been like just a runny/stuffy nose the past two days. yesterday i'd blow my nose and there were like little specks of blood every now and then. but today around the afternoon i blew my nose and then after it just started gushing blood out of just one nostril haha but anyway after that it stopped and then 4 hours later again the same thing and then again another hour later and then again out of a different nostril and then again but the other nostril. when it wasn't bleeding it was little like specks again occasionally. i'm kind of scared cause i've never had a nose bleed before and i don't want it to happen again.
so is this normal based on my situation sort of.? or is there anyway to like avoid another one. cause it's pretty gross. :) thanks.<3Health Question & Answer

most likely your nostrils are dry. this happens to me a lot after a cold, too. just try to take it easy on the nose blowing, and don't use any medication that dries out your sinuses. if you can't breathe, use vapo rub, and put a hot wet washcloth on your chest and sinuses. this will help open them up. good luck and i hope you feel better soon!Health Question & Answer
Some decongestants can dry your nostrils and sinuses out so it is best not use them for more than a few days. If you must use them, also get a nasal lubricant called Rhinaris. Gently coat the inside of each nostril with the lubricant on a Qtip. Blow your nose very gently and use a cool mist vapourizer with vicks at night.Health Question & Answer
Stop picking your nose!
Sorry. Joke. No, it's very common after a cold. Don't worry, but take it easy with blowing your nose- don't blow so hard unless you're getting a LOT of snot out when you do.Health Question & Answer
