Should I call my oral surgeon or is this normal?!

Question: Should I call my oral surgeon or is this normal.?
I had the lower 2 of my wisdom teeth taken out a week ago.. The left side is healing up very nicely, but the right side is still painful.. It definitely gets worse in the evening and after I try to eat (still eating softer foods but trying to integrate more "normal" foods into my diet again).. It feels like the molars in front of where my wisdom tooth was removed are pulsing at times and other times they only ache..
I followed all of the directions from my oral surgeon........ no straws, smoking; lots of ice, etc.. Could this be a dry socket or am I just recovering slowly on that side.?
Thanks in advance for help!

Call your Dr for a follow up visit let him/her know what you are feeling.. It could be a range of things, only your Dr.. will be able to determine what the cause of your pain may be.. Until then continue to take pain medication as needed or as prescribed by your Dr.. Best of Luck!Health Question & Answer

It could be a dry socket or if the DDS was too rough when he pulled your tooth he could of cracked the molar in front.. Go back and have an x-ray.. Don't let it go any longer than you have to..Health Question & Answer

call the Dr:let him take an x-ray of it:what if there is a small piece broke off and remained inside the gum..that can be the reason for not healing and throbbing..Health Question & Answer
