How can I stop clenching my teeth?!
Question: How can I stop clenching my teeth.?
I've clenched my teeth for years. And because of it, I have extremely bad TMJ. Both sides of my jaw crack, my jaw locks, I have pain, headaches, ringing in my ears, pressure on my face, the whole shebang.
I've stopped chewing gum and I don't really eat many foods that are really chewy. Clenching my teeth is such a habit, I don't realize when I do it. If I stop, it should help my TMJ a great deal, but I can't. I just find myself doing it again in a few minutes.
Are there any good ways to help me stop clenching my teeth.?Health Question & Answer

Go to your dentist or family doctor and tell them you need a mouth guard or a mold to stop clenching your teeth , do this at night, it will take awhile before it stops but it is a bad habit and also a nervous habit.Health Question & Answer
