Question: Can children have capped teeth.?
My 7 year old daughter has fallen today and broken the bottom off both of her front teeth which are her second lot.
Does anyone know what can be done , do dentists cap teeth at this age and what is the procedure if they do.

Yes, children can have their teeth capped. Usually they are numbed up with novocaine, and the natural tooth is sanded down so that a cap can fit on top of it correctly. An impression is done of the tooth to determine what size, etc. the cap needs to be, and then a temporary cap is placed on, while the exact, permanent cap is made.
