Bruised Foot. How Can I Help It?!
Question: Bruised Foot. How Can I Help It.?
Last night an extremely heavy object fell on the top of my foot. It left a nasty bruise and the pain has spread to my ankle and toes. My foot is very swollen and blueish and it is almost impossible to put pressure on it to walk. Ice and ibuprofen are no help. What is going on and how can I alleviate the pain and speed up the healing process.?Health Question & Answer
Answers:
You really need to get this checked out. A bruise as you describe could easily form a potentially dangerous clot. If ice and painkillers aren't helping you may have fractures.
