so yeah, I cleanly cut a tiny slice off the top of my thumb by accident. It was hanging on by a tiny bit, so I just applied pressure and it stuck back on. I figured that new skin would grow underneath it and the old skin would die and fall off. But I seem to have feeling in it. Hard to tell if i'm just feeling the pressure though. the whole thing was surprisingly painless all in all.

give it a week, be careful and keep it CLEAN!!! i mean it, theres a big entrance for bacteria there...if by next week it doesnt seem more stable, just forget it. dont move it, either; just cover it with a bandage, pressurized.Health Question & Answer
If you just cut some of the skin off, it should heal, but you could ask a doctor, probably without even having to go in, for a definite answer.Health Question & Answer
