Sounds like a nerve problem when you say tingling and numb. Go to the doctors they may do a nerve induction test where they stick needles in your legs to test if there is any nerve damage. I had that done a few months ago, it is not too bad, just slight muscle sorness afterwards. I can totally relate to you. If I sit too long at all my legs start aching and same with standing.

I have been having problems with my legs for about 2 or 3 years now and I am only 22. I don't have the tingling or numbness though, my pain is an achy and intense pain. I have pain in both legs and it used to be an everynow and then thing but is starting to be an almost daily thing. I have had xrays of my lower back and the nerve induction test, both came back good. Now my family doctor wants me to go to a neurologist but I am hesistant. I don't want to get all these never ending expensive tests done. I think for me I just want to get on medicine from my family doctor without a diagnoses. The only thing that even helps my pain is ibuprophen. I say all this to warn you finding a diagnoses is not easy, and your best bet is to go to a family doctor and see what he suggests. My doctor did say mine sounds like a soft tissue/muscle problem but honestly yours sounds like you might have a pinched nerve perhaps. Add me as your contact if you want and we can share any info to help each other.

Sciatica which is disc/back/nerve damage affects the right leg, but I think it also goes along the back right butt from what I've read. I'm pretty sure I saw the nerve path go from the back to right thigh to back of calf.

I have a back injury and my legs are in more pain than my back. Numbness, pain, tingling all the time. Doesn't get better. Look into because Sciatica is pretty common. That's not what I have, but my sister and neighbor had sciatica and it was later resolved. One through surgery and the other through just changing habits, stop bending over, use your knees to bend..walking is good for it actually.

But - my boyfriend has issues like yours and he feels its blood clotting issues.

But definitely go to the doctors and get it checked out. If you don't have insurance, do some reading on herniated disks and see if you have any of the symptoms. I don't know much about blood flow but I think the symptoms might be very similar. Pay attention to where your pain is so you can describe it accurately - what increases it, what decreases it. And immediately change your daily activities to stop doing whatever aggravates the pain.

inversion therapy will work better for spinal alignment and stretching out your legs, spine and lower back. Inversion therapy uses the effects of gravity to weight down your spine and stretch it out. As this happens your spine is allowed to decompress and as that happens it relieves the pinched nerves in your spine. Inversion therapy causes your muscles of your core (the hips, thighs, buttocks, back muscles and most importantly the stomach muscles) to stretch out. As they stretch the knots and spasms leave and when these muscles are all relaxed they loosen their grip on your lower back muscles, your spine and most importantly your pelvis, allowing them to go back into natural alignment. As they align this will cause your sciatica to vanish. It's like if your car is out of alignment it pulls to one side and screws up the tires, it's the same with your back. Inversion therapy will help align your spine much quicker than some pillow while you're laying on your back. Inversion therapy also will decompress your spinal discs and this in turn will take pressure off of your spine and those nerves by the discs that are making your legs tingle. Hope this helps. also, GOOGLE: inversion therapy online health mart : to read how this can help you. take careHealth Question & Answer

It's probably blood circulation in your legs which can cause that tingling numb feeling. I would go to the doctor so they can check that out immediately. You don't want to learn you have problems with your blood clotting or high cholesterol when it is too late.Health Question & Answer

my guess would be neuropathy. See your doctor for sure.Health Question & Answer
