I slipped on ice at school and my Hip hurts now...?!

Question: I slipped on ice at school and my Hip hurts now....?
It happened about a week ago maybe 5 days ago i walked out the door and fell rite on my upper left hip part almost at my waist. NO im not clumsy i just had a arm full of binders and didn't see the ice plus i was running for the bus.

The pain is anytime i sit down or walk...its not intense pain but its really sore at nightime like a 400 pound sumo is sitting on me or like something is rubbing or being stretched. I cant even go to my tennis lesson today because i can barely walk even.
Whenever i walk or put the tinyest bit of pressure on my left leg it buckles and sends me to my knees or if im in an awkward situation usually spiralling to the ground.

I wanna know what this could be.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Welll... It doesnt sound too serious... But the pain sounds bad.
Is it swelling .? Purple or blue.? If its swelling maybe call the doctor
because the impact it put on your hip mustve been hard. But if its just abit sore then just leave it for a couple more days because it mightve just been a bruise.

NOTE: But even if its not swelling and looks like a bruise but you have a hard time walking after a couple of days , be sure to check it out
at the doctor because it could be serious.Health Question & Answer

your best bet is to see a doctor, immediately. don't put it off because it sounds like more that just a bruise. you could have a bone fracture or a chip that is close to a nerve. you could have torn a muscle or ruptured a ligament. the fact is that pain is your bodies way of telling you that something is wrong and it needs to be attended to. if not looked at now it may eventually heal in an abnormal way and cause you worse problems down the road.Health Question & Answer

you probally just bruised the bone. it is also possible that u might have chiped the bone . if its not better in bout 2 weeks then go to the doctorHealth Question & Answer
