Is this true... what do you say...?!

Question: Is this true... what do you say....?
Is it true that if you carry a cellphone on you (let's say, in your pocket) then it harms the organ that it is closest in proximity to.? For example, if you keep it in your breast pocket and it rings (or vibrates), the radiation would harm your heart, and if you keep it in your pants pocket, it would harm your reproductive organs and so on....What are your views.? also, is it only when you set your phone to vibrate.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
it is true but it only harms you a tiny tiny bit.

edit: lol :)Health Question & Answer

Total myth. The radiation (light waves) produced by a cell phone are the same that are received by your car radio. And when was the last time someone was concerned about cancer from a car radio. The truth is, we are bombarded by far more radio and microwave light that something as minuscule as a cell phone vibrating is the least of your worries. There is no reliable evidence stating that that kind of radiation is even remotely harmful. The stuff you need to worry about is at the other end of the light spectrum in the form of UV light, x-ray and gamma ray radiation. You won't even get a significant dose of the last one in your entire life, and x-rays are safe in controlled doses. You need to be more concerned about tanning booths dishing out huge amounts of UV. A tan is nothing but an all body skin scar. You are completely safe with cell phones, microwaves, and lap tops.Health Question & Answer
