Congratulations on quitting!!
Try chewing gum if you are afraid you are eating too much, or even sunflower seeds to help with the oral fixation.
also, try a new hobby: cross stitching, reading, scrapbooking....anything to keep your mind and hands busy to make it through the cravings.

I quit smoking about 9 months ago. I understand your pain. After the eating (healthy food of course) stage I've put all my energy into becoming a gym rat. Something I swore I never would do. It isn't as bad as I thought. Just start exercising. All my friends still smoke so it's hard, real hard sometimes. I just remind myself how hard it was that 1st month and do I really want to do that over again.? Nope, it's not worth doing it over so try to stay strong. I run, bike ride, and do yoga to get out all the stress and excess energy.Health Question & Answer
