Contact lenses...question....?!
Question: Contact lenses...question.....?
I currently wear spectacles....I know that my degree has gone abit higher because I cannot see that clearly, but when I use my friend's spectacles to see,it is very clear, she says her degree is 200+ which is about the same as mine.
I want to ask,if I would go to a spectacle shop,to make contact lenses,do some of the shops also give you a eye check before getting contact lenses.Like I go for a eye check in a spectacle shop then in the particular shop,I would ask them to help me make contact lenses.?
Oh ya btw....my mother & sister uses the contact lenses which are like these http://flickr.com/search/.?q=contact+lens... [2] of them....
so how much does the [2] contact lenses cost.?estimation.?dalies.?
Thanks!Health Question & Answer

Most shops should give you a check up so they can get your prescription and what not. And the cost of them should all depend on insurance. mine cost 35. but hey i got them from Wal-Mart. still great quality.Health Question & Answer
Yes, you have to have an exam for contact lenses. Not only to re-check your RX/Degree, but they also have to get the circumference/measurements of your eye so the contacts fit you properly.
I get my RX from my doctor, then buy my lenses from 1800 contacts website. They are a fraction of the cost there :) http://www.1800contacts.com/
I LUV contacts, if they get a good fit, I'm sure you will too!!
Hope that helps!!Health Question & Answer
