Question: Abdominal/pelvic ultrasound question.?
I am having an abdominal/pelvic exam tomorrow, and I wanted to know, am I allowed to have meat, or milk the night before.?

If it bloats you, don't have it. If you're bloated, they won't be able to see good the pelvic area because the bowels are moving. Although you eat them a day before, the gas will still be there. Health Question & Answer
If your doctor didn't say anything about refraining from eating food, I wouldn't worry about it. I had one done and hadn't changed my eating habits, and they were still able to do it just fine. Of course, I had it done last minute, so I wouldn't have been able to follow a no-eat diet beforehand anyway.
Like I said... if the doctor said nothing, don't worry about it. Otherwise just go by what he said. What you eat shouldn't matter too much anyway, as long as you wait the recommended time they give.Health Question & Answer

yeah when I had mine I could eat what I wanted. but in the morning you have to drink water and DO NOT go to the toilet I was busting but they make u waitHealth Question & Answer
