Answers:
I'm really sorry you're in pain.
My docs are talking about a nerve block or steroid injections, I wonder if that's the same thing.? (if so, you could try those terms in google searches too!)
From what I've heard this sort of thing has worked great for some and not at all for others. I guess I figure it's worth a shot.
If it helps, we're also looking into TENS machines and acupuncture.
Let me know how you get on.?Health Question & Answer

Yes, I had that done about 7-8 months ago. I had very bad pain shooting down my leg, called Sciatica. I went to the hospital and they did a little injection of lidocaine to numb the area, then did the epidural steroidal injection. It took about 2 weeks for my pain to totally disapear, but it's gone and hasn't come back. Knock on wood, lolHealth Question & Answer
i have had this done, unfortunately it didnt work. my disc has collapsed and calcified around the nerve, so the only thing that will help me is surgery. its really a 50/50 shot, but i sure hope it helps you. good luckHealth Question & Answer
