Question: I hit my head and now my headache won't go away.?
Okay, so I expected it to hurt, but it happened yesterday, so is it normal to have a headache today.? I don't have any vision problems, just a headache. I plan on taking another advil right now. I just haven't really "bonked my head" since I was a kid. Is this normal.? LOL

(I moved the couch to clean the carpet...the place it is sitting is mostly on a back wall, but the very end of one side is slightly under the tile counter. So, I answered the phone and sat down to talk to someone while I was looking something up for them; I leaned back and hit my head against the counter. OUCH! You must have a nice knot on your head too. I wouldn't worry too much about anything serious being wrong. Just keep an eye on it. If your headache continues for more then several days, see a doctor. Put a nice cold compress on that knot too.

usually, the symptoms of concussion are nausea and dizziness more so than a headache. so if you do start to feel faint then maybe you should seek help. otherwise, perhaps the headache is just a mere coincidence and you shouldn't get too worried about it! (:Health Question & Answer
